Supplementary minerals and trace elements

Minerals are essential to human health because they support thousands of processes and functions in the human body. In fact, your body uses them for many different important tasks, such as keeping your bones, heart and brain healthy. They also play an important role in hormone health, help maintaining a healthy immune system and more.

Minerals like vitamins, we take them in our food and their effects are primarily related to bone and dental health and overall body processes, such as better sleep quality, detoxification and metabolic regulation.

Depending on how much the body needs, they are divided into two groups:

  • Macronutrients or minerals:

    • Boron - is a mineral that is found in food such as nuts. It plays a role in helping to build bone strength by metabolizing magnesium and calcium in the formation of bones.

    • Calcium - is one of the essential minerals for optimal health. It helps strengthen the skeleton and dentition.

    • Magnesium - is one of the body’s most important minerals to stay healthy. It is essential for more than 300 different biochemical reactions in the body — from cardiovascular and bone health to support of energy metabolism support, and can also contribute to the cognitive function.

    • Sodium, potassium, phosphorus, chlorine, and sulfur

  • Micronutrients or trace elements

    • Iron - is a mineral that is an essential component of hemoglobin. Iron is also an integral part of many proteins and enzymes that maintain good health.

    • Zinc - has an important role in growth and immune system function. It is found throughout the body in all organs, tissues and fluids, and it has key functions in cellular activity.

    • Selenium - is a mineral found in soil, water, and some foods. It is a very important component for a healthy metabolism and immune system.

    • Copper, iodine, fluorine, manganese and chromium

We offer a wide range of minerals from leading manufacturers Swanson, Quicksilver Scientific and Life Extension.

We also recommend using our comprehensive filter for nutritional supplements and vitamins, where you can filter by: brand, active ingredient, form, and most importantly, what the supplement is intended for. If you need supplements quickly, then select only stock products in the filter, we ship those quickly.
