Why choose the adidas Judo Jacket Champion III

• Official IJF certification – approved for use in all international competitions
• Premium durable material – a blend of cotton and polyester built to handle daily intense training and demanding matches
• Reinforced lapel and seams – reinforced stress points make grip fighting harder for the opponent and protect the gi from damage
• Competition fit – sits naturally on the body without restricting standing techniques or groundwork (ne-waza)
• Optimal weight – meets modern standards for competition judo, balancing strength and mobility
• Classic adidas design – a clean, professional look featuring the iconic shoulder stripes

Built for the toughest battles

In judo, your gi is subjected to extreme pulling, jerking, and friction. The Champion III model is constructed from high-quality material with reinforced stitching in the most highly stressed areas, such as the shoulders, chest, and armholes. Additionally, the firm, rigid lapel significantly complicates your opponent's grip fighting (kumikata), giving you a valuable tactical advantage during the match.

Freedom of movement for lightning-fast techniques

For your throws to be quick and precise, your gi must not hold you back. The competition fit of this jacket is tailored to naturally follow your body's movements. It offers plenty of room for rotation during throws while fitting closely enough to ensure your opponent isn't given any unnecessary extra fabric to grab.

Certified for global tatamis

Thanks to its official approval from the International Judo Federation (IJF), you can be confident that the jacket meets the strictest standards for dimensions, weight, and material strength. With this gi jacket, you can confidently step onto the mat at any official tournament and focus entirely on your performance.

Who is the adidas Judo Jacket Champion III ideal for?

This jacket is the perfect choice for professional competitors, elite judokas, and ambitious athletes who require IJF-certified equipment for the highest level of competition. It is ideal if you rely on strong, tactical grip fighting, demand extreme material durability, and want a gi that won't let you down in the decisive moments of a match.
